Val Pusteria/Pustertal is a land of plenty for families looking to spend a day in the great outdoors. Summer or winter, there is always plenty to experience! For instance, we warmly recommend a visit to the fantastic Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee lake, in the Dolomites, or to the picturesque Anterselva/Antholzer See lake. In summer, the kids can enjoy a tour of the lakes, while in winter if properly frozen their surfaces can turn into spectacular natural ice rinks. If your kids are budding culture vultures, you may want to visit the South Tyrolean Folklore Museum: it is open from Easter to October and it is definitely worth a visit. Plan de Corones is both a most popular ski area in winter and an outdoor paradise in summer, with attractions including an XXL trampoline, a giant swing, paragliding opportunities, freeride routes, a climbing park and more! Other perfect attractions for a family jaunt include the KronAction adventure park and the LandArt route in Falzes/Pfalzen, as well as the bunker in Mantana/Montal. Care for an extra serving of action? Then visit Monte Chiusetta/Klausberg in Valle Aurina/Ahrntal or Mount Baranci/Haunold resort in San Candido/Innichen: both offer a fantastic alpine coaster.
