Important information:
Beginners start off with lungeing lessons. They build their confidence with the horse and learn how to sit, move when trotting, and use the reins on our riding ground. Advanced riders practise the art of giving subtle signals, learn more about different breeds of horses, and enjoy the stunning nature of Val Pusteria/Pustertal during rides.
Holiday highlights for kids and teens: our riding camps
Five unforgettable days full of learning, fun, and sparkling eyes. A thrilling mix of basic knowledge about horses, insights into different riding styles, and seat training and correction. Horse fans big and small adore our riding camp, which lets children and teens from 6 to 16 years old spend a varied holiday at the Winklerhotels alongside our gentle companions. Our riding instructors support them in their first riding experiences, but also offer their expertise to seasoned riders.
