Both yoga and Qigong focus on meditation techniques as well as breathing- and physical exercises to increase well-being. The exercises are designed to bring body, mind and soul back into balance. Our hotels offer regular yoga and Qigong sessions as part of our weekly Winklers’ Balance vitality programme as well as special yoga- and Qigong workshops with professional instructors.

Qigong
Qigong is a Chinese exercise- and meditation technique that aims to harmonise and regulate the Qi flow in the body. Senses are sharpened and focus is improved by means of diverse, sometimes even martial-like exercises.

Yoga
This Indian philosophical doctrine can be practised in different ways, but all the various yoga techniques ultimately lead to self-knowledge and involve both meditation and physical exercises which help achieve inner peace and balance.
