Minerals Museum in St. Johann

The most important museum in the eastern Alps is the fruit of decades of passion in seeking and collecting minerals.
More than 950 single exhibits display specimens from the Zillertaler Alps and the Hohe Tauern dating back to about 30 million years ago. The museum offers 300 m² of exhibition space.

Opening hours and prices:
April to end of October: daily, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM
November to end of March: daily, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM


Tickets:
Adults: € 3.00
Children aged 6-14: € 2.00 (including 1 mineral as a present)
Groups (10 or more people): € 2.50
School classes: € 1.80 / person (up to age 14: 1 mineral for free)
