New "Gipfelbahn" cable car
This winter season, we have something special in store for our snow fans: a brand new cable car all the way to the top of Mount Kronplatz!
New "Seewiese" slope
After substantial extension works and the installation of new snow-making systems, the Seewiese slope is due to re-open for the 2010/11 winter season.
Cianross cable car
The Cianross cable car is due to re-open for the 2009/10 winter season. In 2007, the lift facility was badly damaged by a mudslide during the summer months. The reconstruction of the cable car system will make the slopes Cianross (37) and Corn (38) available again to skiers.

The Marchner lift will get a complete makeover for the winter season: Because the chairlift has in the past exceeded its capacities, it will now be replaced with a brand new cable car system.

Kids Safety Park
The Kids Safety Park at the Olang 2 slope is new. It was built especially for children from 6 to 14 years and is helpful for teaching amongst others the rules of conduct on the ski slopes in a playful way.

Snowpark Kronplatz
At the Kronplatz South Tyrol’s biggest snow park has been constructed, the so called „Snowpark Kronplatz“.
The park has been built at the ski lift „Belvedere“, the slope is in the south-east and therefore in a sunny position.

News from Kronplatz – Children’s lift in Reischach
The new “Korer Express” lift facility has been built in the Reischach valley area: it is a children-friendly 8-seater mono-cable circulating gondola with a carrying capacity of 2,000 people/h, travelling a distance of 1,050 meters and an elevation gap of 160 meters. Especially designed for young skiers, there is an easy practice piste with conveyor belt, toboggan run, and more.

News from Kronplatz - The Kronplatz - Alta Badia Dolomites connection is now a reality!
Kronplatz is now closer to the center of the action. Since the construction of the new “Piculin” cableway in the winter of 2006/07 means that the connection to the Alta Badia facilities are now a reality. In Pikolein a low-floor bus service connects the route between Kronplatz and Alta Badia every 20 min. This means that skiers can reach the Sella Ronda right outside the hotel with their skis!
