New "Gipfelbahn" cable car
This winter season, we have something special in store for our snow fans: a brand new cable car all the way to the top of Mount Kronplatz!
Originally constructed in 1989 to replace a total of three lifts, the aerial lift was in use up until recently and will now be replaced by a state-of-the-art cable car with gondolas for up to 10 passengers and heated leather benches.
While the route remains the same, the transport capacity increases to approx. 3,000 passengers/hour.
